Linking your wallet
Settings → Mobile money. Enter your number — the network is detected automatically and the wallet's registered name is shown so you know it's yours. A one-time approval on your phone confirms ownership; no money moves during linking.
Sending money
In any 1-to-1 chat, tap +→ Money. Enter the amount, check the recipient's verified wallet name, confirm — then approve the prompt your network sends to your phone. The chat shows the payment card update live: sent → landed.
Requesting & splitting
Request works the same in reverse — the other side gets an Accept/Decline card. In groups, a request becomes a split: the total is divided across members, each share is held safely once paid, and the whole amount is released to the requester when everyone's in. The requester can cancel a pending split, which refunds every held share.
Fees
Network and processing fees are shown before you confirm. The sender covers them — the receiver always gets the full amount.
If something looks stuck
- “Approve on your phone” never arrived— dial your network's approval shortcode (e.g. MTN *170#) and check pending approvals, then return to the chat.
- Payment shows pending — pull to refresh the Wallet screen; pending items reconcile automatically once the network settles.
- Anything else — write to support@sprintelex.com with the time of the transaction (never share your PIN with anyone, including us).
